Our Claims Process Explained

Claiming from us is clear and simple.
Funeral Plan Claims
All valid claims will be paid within 24 hours. Claims will be validated once all necessary documents are received. The documents you need to send for a 24 hour pay-out are:

Certified copies of:
  • Death certificate
  • Beneficiary's ID
  • Deceased's ID
  • Registration of death form (DHA 1663)

We make it easy for you to submit your claim. Choose the method you are most comfortable with:
Life Claims
In the event of a death, you will need to lodge a claim on the deceased person's insurance policy so that it can be assessed.

We have made it simple for you to claim by giving you the option to choose the method you are most comfortable with:

The Claims Department will need the following when they process a death claim:
  • The deceased member's policy number
  • A fax or e-mail address
  • The date and cause of death
  • All relevant documentation, signed and certified by a Commissioner of Oaths, e.g. bank manager or police officer.

How is the claim assessed?
